Research Online. Buy Smart. Install Locally.
Buying tires online doesn’t mean you have to figure out installation yourself. Rapid City and the surrounding Black Hills have independent shops, national tire centers, and retailer-partner installers that can mount, balance, service TPMS systems, and help get your vehicle back on the road.

Published Installer Pricing Isn’t Always Walk-In Pricing
Some of the prices below are published through Tire Rack or SimpleTire’s installer programs. Those rates may apply specifically to tires purchased through that retailer and shipped to the installer.
Usually lists mounting/balancing separately and may show additional charges for disposal, TPMS kits, run-flats, package installation, or specialty wheel sizes.
The published package may bundle mounting, balancing, valve stems, disposal, TPMS reset, delivery to the installer, and other benefits. It is not the same thing as a mount-and-balance-only quote.
Prices checked September 13, 2026. Always confirm current pricing, taxes, wheel-size charges, oversized-tire fees, TPMS costs, run-flat charges, and whether customer-supplied tires are accepted before booking.

A low mounting price can become a very different total once other services are added. Ask what the quote includes before scheduling.
Confirm whether both services are included in the quoted price.
Old-tire disposal may be charged separately per tire.
Reset, rebuild kits, or replacement sensors can involve separate charges.
Large truck, low-profile, run-flat, or specialty tires may cost more to install.
Confirm the shop will install tires purchased somewhere else.
Alignment is separate from balancing and may be appropriate if wear or steering indicates a problem.
Compare Tires Online, Then Choose a Black Hills Installer
As Black Hills Tire Guide connects authorized retailer feeds, the goal is to let you compare tires and retailer offers first, then identify a nearby installer instead of treating tire purchase and installation as completely separate decisions.
Research the Tire Before Paying for Installation
Verify fitment, compare the tire itself, and then compare the complete installed cost rather than shopping on tire price alone.
Black Hills Tire Guide is an independent tire research publication and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the installers listed above unless explicitly stated. Installer information and published pricing were checked September 13, 2026 and may change without notice. Tire Rack and SimpleTire installer-program pricing may apply specifically to orders placed through those retailers and may differ from direct walk-in pricing. Taxes, disposal, TPMS service, specialty wheels, oversized tires, run-flats, alignments, shop fees, and other services may cost extra. Contact the installer directly for a current out-the-door quote before purchasing or scheduling.
